We had another very busy week. Your children have been working hard on becoming authors by writing many stories they are very proud of. Next week we will finish up our Communities theme and begin working on a Plants theme. Ask your child about the carrots and beans we are growing in our classroom mini garden! Since Earth Day is on April 22nd, we will be doing some activities to recognize the day.
We have a fieldtrip to Aggie Days coming up on April 26th. It is a great way for students to experience life on a farm. We require about 4 - 5 parent chaperones. Thank you in advance to the parents who have already volunteered! April 29th is Wellness Day. Students will learn about and participate in many activities that promote health and wellness. It looks like it will be a very fun day!
