We learned about the meaning of poppies and Remembrance day last week. On Thursday morning the school participated in a Remembrance Day assembly in the gym. All of the students were respectful and reverent for the entire time. They understood the importance of being grateful for the freedoms we enjoy.
The forms went home on last week for our fieldtrip to the Galt Museum on November 15th. I am grateful to the parents who will be joining us to help chaperone the class. You might be surprised by the interesting tidbits about Lethbridge you will glean from this fieldtrip!
I was able to successfully complete assessments on all of the students and I am now working on reporting my findings to the parents via report cards. You have wonderful children who are eager to learn, it makes my job a blessing!
