We had another very busy week. Your children participated in Jump Rope For Heart and Wellness Day activities. Thursday we hosted Pizza Day. A huge thank you to the parents who volunteered to distribute pizza during the lunch hour.
Students are working hard on becoming authors by writing stories they are very proud of. This week we will continue to work on our Mother's Day theme and next week we will begin our plant theme.
Running club begins first thing Monday morning. It will run from 8:25 - 8:40 a.m. Mon - Thurs and from 12:05 - 12:33 p.m. Tues and Wed. All students are welcome to join. It is a great way to start the day! Parents are welcome to participate also if interested. Come one, come all!
We have two fieldtrips coming up this month. On May 8th we go to SAAG (Southern Alberta Art Gallery) to view the work of students from schools throughout Lethbridge. On May 29th both Grade One classes are heading out to the Hubbard Collection at Lethbridge Colledge. We require 5 - 6 parent chaperones so all parents are welcome to join us. Please send in consent forms A.S.A.P.

May 22 - Professional Development Day - no school for students
May 24 - Mary Celebration 9:15 am- 1B and 1M presents
May 30 - Heritage Day and Quest Theatre
