Lest We Forget
Thanks to all the parents who helped with pumpkin carving and the Hallowe'en party. I think your children will have a lot of great memories to look back on!
We will spend some time this week talking about the meaning of Remembrance Day so that students will understand the importance of being grateful for the freedoms we enjoy. The school will participate in a Remembrance Day assembly on Friday morning. Next Monday school will be closed in lieu of Remembrance Day on Sunday, and Tuesday will be a District PD day.
The Chaperone forms for our fieldtrip to the Galt Museum on November 20th will come home this week. I am grateful to the parents who will be able to join us to help chaperone the class. You might be surprised by the interesting tidbits about Lethbridge you will glean from this fieldtrip!
We will continue to assess students next week for the upcoming report cards. You have wonderful children who are eager to learn, it makes my job a blessing!
