We are about to begin our second last week of grade one!! Hopefully the weather will be full of sun and warmth. This will be a week packed with fun activities for students (and teachers too!).
On Monday we read to some older students in grade five. Students and invited to wear sunglasses on Tuesday. Wednesday is talent day and I am looking forward to the students showcasing themselves! We will acknowledge all of the summer birthdays on Thursday.
On Friday we go to mass at St. Martha church in the morning. Please drop your child off at the church at the beginning of the day. After church they will ride the bus to the school. After lunch we will combine the two grade one classes so they can enjoy a movie and popcorn.
A huge thank you to the parents who brought watermelon for picnic day, and to the parents who will be supplying popcorn for movie day.
