This is going to be an extra short week for students. Monday is Victoria Day and Tuesday is a PD Day. Students come back Wednesday to Friday.
We will start the ABC's of grade one on Wednesday. I sent home a A-Z Calendar last week. Each day, from May 20th to the last day of school, we focus on a different letter of the alphabet. With the exception of W-watermelon day, everything will be provided from the pizza day proceeds. Our parent rep will be asking for 3-4 volunteers to send cubed watermelon for that day. Thank you in advance!!
Since this is such a short week, I will be sending an email with the SAAG fieldtrip form attached. If you have a printer at home, please fill out and send with your child on Wednesday. We go to the Southern Alberta Art Gallery on May 26th to view the artwork of students all over Lethbridge and area.
The Holy Rosary celebration is on Thursday, May 28th. Your children have been practicing the Our Father, Hail Mary and Glory Be, I am confident that they are all prepared. Please feel free to join us for the celebration.
