Weekly Update - December 12 - 16

Last week was a very busy week in 1B! We worked very hard to complete most of the subject work in order to have a fresh start in January. This week we will be working on number sense, journal writing and the five senses.

As their mission project for the year, the grade two students will be raising money for Mission Mexico through a sucker pull during the week of December 12-15.  During morning and afternoon recesses, students will pay 50 cents to have the chance to pull for a “lucky” sucker.   

 

Our fieldtrip to SAAG is on Thursday afternoon. Thank you in advance to the parents who will be joining us as chaperones. We have room on the bus for parents wishing to ride with us.

Parent/Teacher interviews are on Wednesday and Thursday evenings. I have met with many of you already but I am looking forward to meeting with the rest of you.
