Last week was very busy with preparations for the upcoming Christmas concert. The grade one classes will be children in pajamas in the concert this year. We have already begun organizing costumes. I sent a letter home last week with all of the details. Please send your child to school on Monday in pajamas, runners and hair up away from the face for the girls. Please let me know (by email) if your child will not be at the concert both nights.
This week is again packed with activities. Advent will be our theme since December 10th is the second Sunday of Advent. Our week will focus around activities related to this theme as well as the Christmas concert.
We will be heading to the Southern Alberta Art Gallery (SAAG) on Tuesday afternoon to enjoy a wonderful art display. Thank you to those parents who have signed up to join us as chaperones! The bus will leave about 12:45 and parents are welcome to join us if they would like the bus experience. It is also fine to meet us at the gallery if that works better for you.
Some parents expressed difficulty getting on to the Spelling City website. I am attaching a link below that I am hoping will work better. Remember that username and password are both pbeaudina. Let me know it you are still having issues with the site.
