We are starting our second week of June and the weather looks like it will be warm and sunny. We are still in assessing reading and math so please keep reading and working on math booklets.
Our Summer Fun raffle sale begins tomorrow. Tickets will be sold during lunch and afternoon recesses all week. The draw will take place Friday afternoon. All monies earned will be donated to the Lion's Club for the training of guide dogs.
Grade one picnic is on Friday. We will be heading across the street to the park at about 9:20ish. We will be playing some games before we eat lunch at about 10:50(students are asked to bring their own lunch as per usual). We will then be returning back to the school for recess and to finish off the day. Thanks to the parents who are able to come and join the day and for those who helped with some snacks!
* Don't forget the sunscreen!
