This is going to be a very short week. Monday is Thanksgiving Day. Over the weekend, please enjoy the family time. If possible, please help your child gather a few leaves in a plastic bag to bring to school before Friday. We have a couple of art projects coming up that will require leaves of all colours.
The snow is here and it is cold. Please be sure your child is dressed appropriately as they are expected to go outside. Also please label EVERYTHING. Things go missing so easily and it really helps to have names on all items.
We will be going on our first fieldtrip of the year to Helen Schuler Coulee Center on the Tuesday the 18th. The students will have a great time learning about fall seasonal effects on leaves and animals. Fingers crossed that we have beautiful weather!! Thank you to all of the parents who have signed up to help chaperone.
RAZ KIDS is up and running. All of the student's names have been uploaded. It is a great way for students to increase their reading skills at home on appropriately leveled books. I will send a letter home on Tuesday explaining how to access the website from your home computer. Please let me know if you are having difficulty with the program. Also, remember that there is a spelling test on Friday.
Scholastic book orders will be accepted until Friday the 14th .
