Your children have been working very hard on a few Mother's Day surprises last week and they will continue this week. (I told them that it is never okay to keep secrets from their parents, but it is okay to keep surprises.) They, very proudly, are taking their time and doing their very best job.
Just a reminder that the fieldtrip to Hubbard Collection on May 9th has been cancelled due to an unsafe situation after they were vandalized. However, our fieldtrip to SAAG on Thursday is still on. Thank you to all of the parents who have signed up to chaperone.
Our class is sponsoring the pizza day on May 15th. That means our class gets the proceeds to spend on "extras". We have a few parents who have signed up but we will need a few more bodies. We need one more person to help count money at 9:00 am on May 10th. We also need two more parents to hand our pizza on May 15th (from about 11:30 to 12:10ish). Please email me if I can add you to the list! Thanks in advance.
We are soon coming up to assessment time for report cards. Things you can do to help your child be prepared:
- read nightly
- practice counting to 100 by 1, 2, 5, 10
- practice adding and subtracting to 20
I have seen huge growth in your children this year. I am very proud of all of them.

May 31 - Little Soul's Marathon - Chinook High School - 6:30 pm
