Weekly Update - March 19 - 23

Last week was incredibly busy but amazing. On Wednesday your children performed their festival choir song at Southminster Church. I am very proud of how well your children did!

We also learned about our patron Saint Patrick and displayed the wonderful leprechaun traps the students made. We left them on the stairs for the weekend and are hoping that we catch a leprechaun on the infra-red camera.

Decorating eggs and cookies was the highlight of the week! A huge shout out to the amazing 1B parents! You did a fantastic job and the students had a wonderful time! They especially loved eating one of their cookies at lunch time!

Our Lenten activities continue this week and we will be learning about the Stations of the Cross! We will also have Celebration of Learning interviews on Wednesday and Thursday evening. It will be a wonderful opportunity for your children to showcase what they have been learning in grade one. I look forward to meeting all of you
