June is here!! I hope your children have been enjoying the ABC's of grade one. Last week we went to the Birds of Prey and were blessed with a beautiful sunny day. Your children loved it there and they learned a lot about a number of birds. We have our fieldtrip to the Hubbard Collection on Tuesday. Thank you to the parents who have signed up to chaperone.
As you have read, both grade one classes are doing a mission project to collect for the Lion's Club. Parents were asked to bring their purchased summer items and they were set up in the display case by the office. Raffle tickets will be sold during recesses and lunch from the 2nd to the 6th. The draws will be made after lunch on Friday the 6th.
Monday is jeans and jokes today. Please remind your child to practice a couple of jokes to share with the class.

- June 5 - Safety City - Bike Safety p.m.
