Weekly Update - June 9 - 13

I hope everyone is taking time to enjoy this sunny weather! We have a number of things going on this week as Father's Day is fast approaching. We will be busy creating special surprises for our wonderful dads.

Students will enjoy an extended weekend because there will be no school Monday for students. Teachers will be participating in a professional development day.Tuesday we have our final field trip of the year to Fort Whoop Up. Parents are welcome to join us. However since this is a joint field trip with the other grade one class, we are unable to have parents join us on the bus. We will leave the school at 12:40ish and arrive down at the Fort about 1:00 pm. We are able to pay student's entrance fees from the pizza day proceeds.

Things to remember:

• Jun 9 - 12 - Last week to check out library books
• Jun 9 - Professional Development Day - no school for students
• Jun 10 - Ft. Whoop-Up field trip for Grade 1 @ 1:00-2:20 pm
• Jun 11 - Grade 1 Lion's Project Pride @ 9:00 am
• Jun 12 - Pizza lunch sponsored by 4R  
• Jun 16 - 19 - All library books MUST be returned
