June is here!! I hope your children have been enjoying the ABC's of grade one. Last week we went to the SAAG and were blessed with a beautiful sunny day. Your children loved it, they viewed artwork created by other students in Lethbridge and then they created their own master pieces. We have our fieldtrip to Fort Whoop Up on Tuesday. Thank you to the parents who have signed up to chaperone.
As you have read, both grade one classes are doing a mission project to collect for the Lion's Club. Parents were asked to bring their purchased summer items and they were set up in the display case by the office. Raffle tickets will be sold during lunch recess from the 1st to the 5th. Tickets are 40The draws will be made after lunch on Friday the 5th. The Lion's Club will come to talk to us about the guide dogs and how they are trained. Just before they leave, we will present them with the money we raised.
Monday is ice cream day and Tuesday is jeans and jokes day. Please remind your child to practice a couple of jokes to share with the class.
