Weekly Update - February 29 - March 4

 

Students have been practicing their two songs for Kiwanis Festival. Our performance will be held at the Southminster Church on Tuesday March 8th. There is a charge to get in so make sure to bring some cash. I sent a blue consent form with all of the details. Let me know if you have any questions or concerns.

 

Soon after that it will be St. Patrick’s Day!! We know that it is at this time of the year that those “wee little leprechauns” are out to make their mischief. It is our job then to try and catch them. Therefore, we are asking each child, with the help of his/her family, to build a “leprechaun trap”. Last year we just about caught the rascals and we have pictures to prove that they were cavorting around our traps. But alas, we failed to catch one. This year could be the year! We can feel it in our bones. Can you bring the traps to school between Wednesday, March 9 and Friday March 11? We can then have them for viewing during parent-teacher interviews.

Parent-teacher interview are from 4:30-7:30 pm Thursday, March 17th and 8:30-10:30 am on Friday, March 18th. The conference manager is open soon for parents to book interviews. If you find that none of the times work for you, I am happy to meet after school or at lunch on a different day.

Mar 18 - Student-teacher interviews 8:30 - 11:30 am

Mar 18 - Professional Development Day - 11:30  am - 1:15 pm
