Weekly Update - November 28 - December 2

 

Last week was very busy with preparations for the upcoming Christmas concert. The grade one classes will be bakers in the concert this year. We have already begun organizing costumes. I sent a letter home last week with all of the details. Please send your child to school on Monday in jeans, runners and hair up away from the face for the girls. Please let me know if your child will not be at the concert both nights.

Report cards come home Monday and parent teacher interviews are scheduled for December 14th and 15th. As I mentioned, I am happy to meet with parents before those dates (either after school or some lunch hours). Contact me via email if you would like to set something up. It will be a  great opportunity to meet again with every parent this reporting period. 

This week is again packed with activities. Advent will be our theme since December 4th is the first Sunday of Advent. Our week will focus around activities related to this theme as well as the Christmas concert. There is no spelling test this week and Friday is a PD day.

Some parents expressed difficulty getting on to the Spelling City website. I am attaching a link below that I am hoping will work better. Remember that username and password are both pbeaudina. Let me know it you are still having issues with the site.
