We have another very busy week ahead. Your children have been working hard to have everything ready for the Mother's Day Tea on Friday. They are very excited about the opportunity to honour their moms!
Running club began first thing last Monday morning. It will continue to run from 8:25 - 8:40 a.m. Mon - Thurs and from 12:05 - 12:33 p.m.on Tues and Wed. All students are welcome to join. It is a great way to start the day! Parents are welcome to participate also if interested. Come one, come all!
We have three fieldtrips coming up this month. On May 8th we go to SAAG (Southern Alberta Art Gallery) to view the work of students from schools throughout Lethbridge. We head to Southminster Church May 10th for Feel The Beat. On May 29th both Grade One classes are heading out to The Hubbard Collection at Lethbridge College.
Dates to remember:
May 8 - SAAG field trip for 1B @ 1:00-2:15 pm (bus leaves school 12:40ish)
May 9 - Parent Council Hot Lunch (for those who ordered)
May 10 - Grades 1 - 3 attend "Feel the Beat". 9:20 - 11:00 ish am
May 11 - Mother's Day Tea - 9:50 - 10:50 am
May 17 - Pizza Lunch
May 21 - Victoria Day - school closed
May 22 - Professional Development Day - no school for students
May 23 - Alphabet Countdown begins! A Day
May 24 - Mary Celebration led by 1B and 1M - 9:15 am
May 29 - Hubbard Collection Fieldtrip 1:00 - 2:15 pm
May 30 - Heritage Day
