I hope that everyone had a wonderful Thanksgiving. We have much to be thankful for in Canada. The children did many Thanksgiving activities last week and they were very excited to spend time with their families!
We are scheduled to go on our first fieldtrip of the year to Helen Schuler Coulee Center on the 16th. If you are interested in joining us as a chaperone, please send back the form before the 16th. Thank you in advance to the parents who have already volunteered.
This is going to be a very short week. Thanksgiving Day is on Monday and we have a P.D. Day on Tuesday. If possible, use this time to have your child gather leaves in a plastic bag and bring them to school. We have a couple of art projects coming up that will require leaves of all sizes and colours.
We will be carving pumpkins Monday, October 29th from 10:30 - 11:40 am. Our room rep will be asking for 7 volunteers to help with carving and for 7 pumpkin donations. She will also be asking a few parents to sign up to bring snacks for our Hallowe'en party on October 31st.
