Welcome back!! I hope that all of you had a restful week filled with lots of family fun! The weather sure hasn't lived up to the early Spring groundhog predictions! Hopefully we will have weather nice enough for outside play.

Report card time is upon us so, along with our normal activities, we will be very busy with math, reading and writing assessment. Report cards come home March 8th but the Conference Manager opens up March 4th.

Wednesday is Pink Shirt Day. Please have your children wear a pink shirt if     they have one. We will be participating in anti-bullying activities throughout the day. Next week we are entering the Lenten season so we will be learning more about Shove Tuesday, Ash Wednesday and the meaning of Lent and Easter.

Our fieldtrip to Home Depot is coming up on March 7th from about 9:15 - 11:00 am. Students will be building either a birdhouse or toolbox. We will need to have at least one adult for every two students if possible. If parents (or grandparents) are able to join us it would be most appreciated.

St. Patrick's Day will be here soon! Students will be making Leprechaun Traps at home. This year we hope to finally catch that sneaky little leprechaun who lurks around our school! More information will be sent out this week.

Please check the Important Dates link to keep up with what is happening. Also, Scholastic book forms are due soon.
