We are about to begin our second last week of grade one!! Hopefully the weather will be full of sun and warmth. This will be a week packed with fun activities for students (and teachers too!).
On Monday students are invited to bring their favourite stuffy. Tuesday is talent day and I am looking forward to the students showcasing themselves! On Wednesday we will acknowledge all of the summer birthdays and have an orientation day in the grade two classes. We will enjoy a video and popcorn on Thursday afternoon. Friday the grade ones will enjoy watermelon, a huge thank you to the parents for supplying it.
The students have been working very hard on some surprises for the upcoming weekend. Hopefully all of the fathers will be pampered on their special day.
Dates to remember:
Jun 16 - 19 - All library books MUST be returned
June 19 - Closing Mass @ St. Martha's Church 9:00 am.
June 23 - Sports Day / School Council Hot Lunch.
June 26 - Last Day of School for students.
