Last Wednesday and Thursday evening we had your children's Celebration of learning. They were so proud to show you all the things they have learned over the past few months! It was wonderful meeting with all of you.
We celebrated St. Patrick's Day on Thursday and we placed our traps on the steps in the foyer. We are hoping to catch that pesky leprechaun this year!!
Next week is a short week. Monday is Spiritual Development Day for staff so there is no school for students.
Wow, hard to believe that we are already half way through March! We will continue our Lenten activities this week, we will be learning about the Stations of the Cross!
Festival time will soon be upon us. There will be a note coming home from the office soon with more information. Our class will perform on April 2 in the morning. The festival class starts at 9:30. Parents are welcome but just know there is a cost set by the festival to get in. The Grade Ones will need to wear black bottoms and a plain white shirt with no logos or designs.
We have two fieldtrips next month. We will be going to Aggie Days on April 11th and to the Galt Museum on April 16th. Consent forms were signed at the beginning of the year but I will send home consent to chaperone forms closer the dates. We require 4 to 5 parent supervisors for each fieldtrip.
